Privacy

The short version: essentials.sh is designed so there is almost nothing to have a privacy policy about.

What you put into the tools

URLs you encode, images you upload for favicons or OG backgrounds, and text you type into generators are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers, never stored, and never seen by us. If you use the REST API or MCP server instead, your request is processed statelessly and the inputs are not retained after the response is sent.

What we do collect

There are no accounts, no analytics scripts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies on this site. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard connection data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver and protect the service; we can see aggregate operational metrics and short-lived logs on that infrastructure. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your own browser's localStorage and never sent anywhere.

Changes

If any of the above ever changes — for example if we add analytics or an account system — this page will be updated first, and the change will be visible in the public repository history before it ships.
